If you asked any successful network marketer what the biggest advantage of building a business was, chances are they would tell you residual income.
This simply means get paid over and over again for something you did once.
It's extremely powerful and totally unlike a job where you only get paid if you show up.
It's one of the reasons I found network marketing appealing, I wanted to earn residual income.
Most jobs will pay you for vacation and a certain amount of sick leave, but the bottom line is you have to go to work to make money.
In his excellent book Beach Money, Jordan Alder talks about this residual income.
The title Beach Money simply refers to the fact he can go and lie on a beach for a week or more if he chooses and still make money.
In fact, distributors who have large enough organizations could go this for a month and come back and find their business is even larger! It's wonderful to think you can enroll a new distributor tomorrow into your network marketing company and get paid next month, next year and for years to come, as long as you and the other person remain active.
This simply means buying new product each month.
Most MLMs have an automatic delivery program.
It's essential in an honest company to have product purchased in order to make money.
However you can be enjoying that product on vacation and still make money, provided of course that you have put forth the effort to build a team in the first place.
Residual income is the most exciting reason to be in network marketing and to build a business.
Of course it takes time, no one can predict how long, but even if it takes a few years it is more than worth it.
